For many years, Candida protocols were limited to anti-fungal drugs and herbs. These agents have three major problems. First, they can damage the liver. Second, Candida develops resistance to them. Third, they cause massive “die off” reactions that can be worse than Candida itself.
Candida’s metabolic machinery exists within a cell surrounded by a cell wall. This cell wall is an organ in its own right, but also protects everything that goes on within the cell. If the cell wall is destroyed, the cell cannot function, and thereby dies.
Our founder, Jery Cochern, has studied Candida for over 30 years. Seeing that the cell wall is Candida’s weakest point, he looked for a way to degrade it without the problems presented by antifungals. He found a way by using a specific group of enzymes. Candida cannot become immune to these enzymes. They are completely safe, do not trigger severe die-off reactions, do not contain antifungals, and do not cause any damage to the liver.
